• Read a basic guide on html
  • Make sure to take notes
• Read about CSS
  • Pay attention to what you might like for your own webpage
• Once you have a basic idea of what you can do, draft some sketches of what you want this to look like
  • Browse some other sites for inspiration
  • Maybe find some good background stuff
  • Think about what exactly you want to post

Wait, why isn't my page updating? I can see my changes in the preview window, but when I go to the webpage, it's the default text and stuff. What? How is that happening? My code is saving. Let me try doing this in a document on my computer. Yeah, that works. Ok, what could the problem be? I don't know enough to really know yet, so I'm really just guessing randomly. Ok, I tried reloading the page once I opened it, and now it does go to my page. Now that I've edited again, lets see if this is included. It is. Huh, weird. I would have thought that closing the tab and opening it again would have refreshed it. Are those somehow two different things? Does closing a tab not do what I think it does? Or is this just something specific to neocities? Weird.
